Our Story

Baked goods and pastries freshly handcrafted every day, conveniently available at a stockist near you. Using beloved recipes by Grégoire Michaud and only the highest-quality ingredients, our breads are baked in stone-bed ovens—the only real way to bake, if you ask us.


Raised in Switzerland and trained in the art of baking from the age of 15, Michaud worked in the kitchens of some of the world’s most renowned hotels and restaurants before opening Bakehouse, his humble yet beloved shop, in his favourite neighbourhood in 2018. Having lived in Hong Kong for over 20 years, Michaud has a deep connection to the city’s community and culture.
